Carnivale
This weekend saw the Town’s Festival taking over the central square and the citadelle (we have a nice fortification from the 18th century right in the middle of the city). We went out for a walk and I took the camera with me. It was really nice until it got scary.
Things you can -and must- try when going to a Romanian festival-of-something:
1.Kurtos kalacs/ colac secuiesc/ Horn cake (pick your language). Tubular thin-walled spiral of sweet vanilinated dough, fried on coal and brushed with various syrups that might or might not include sugar, sesame, nuts, coconut, cinnamon and cocoa.
2.Cotton candy
3.Mici
As for the scary part - the decorations on one of the rides-
This year’s Grammy winner (notice the waxing):
And Axl Rose after a sex change:

Whoa! Axl Rose with a sex change! Funny, I’ve got the picture of him in that same pose as wall paper on my computer.
Now I want a Horn Cake.
Yay, a fellow Axl Rose fan! I thought I was the only one left
I never thought I’d say it, but:
Axl, yooooooooouuuuuuuuuu could be miiiIIIIiIIIIiiiIIinneeee!
*dies from laughter*
