I always read them, though, because I think knowing is better than not knowing, even if knowing is terrible. This is a perfect example of why I will probably never be a therapist - I just don't know if I could take it. This type of story always makes me want to call my family and tell them that I love them, to hug my husband and my cat, and to do everything I can to feel safe in a world that doesn’t seem capable of being safe anymore.
